Essays by Dr. Ian Parker, Jeanne Randolph, Dawn Wooley & James Moore (Another Product)

This publication accompanied the exhibition Making Love to My Ego (11th August – 24th September, 2006) curated by Another Product. The exhibition forms an adventure into the realm of self-image and alter ego. With a nod to popular psychoanalysis and a keen desire to explore the manifestations of the ego within contemporary art practice, a group of artists have been brought together to generate an inquiry into the subject. The book presents three commissioned essays on the subject of the ego by Ian Parker (Professor of Psychology at MMU), Jeanne Randolph (Author of Why Stoics Box) and Another Product.
